Nicole is committed to creating possibilities for social change and addressing inequality in our community. Over the past 15 years, Nicole has worked at the intersection of social sustainability in the built environment spanning Tier 1 Builders across Australia, and overseas with the UNDP.
At Icon, Nicole is leading the delivery of over $60M social and indigenous procurement across the construction of Major Projects for the Victoria Government ($1.6B value), including the $800M Ground Lease Model 2 PPP for Homes Victoria. She is also responsible for achieving over 300,000hrs of work for people facing barriers to meaningful employment. Nicole is especially motivated to be a hand-up for women who share a lived experience of family & domestic violence. Nicole has embedded an approach to procurement at Icon that is defined by 2 key strategies: 1) meeting individuals and subcontractors where they are at; and 2) embedding systems and processes that support them to achieve positive outcomes. Icon are industry leading, and were awarded the Social Traders National Trailblazers award (2023), and Kinaway Business Partner Excellence Award (2023).
